PERSONAL TRAINER

Ben has built his personal recovery around micro-improvements each day that lead to dramatic change over time. He believes and shows others that developing physical fitness is a microcosm of defeating addiction. He earned his personal trainer license through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is a 2020 Graduate of Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy. 

His mission is to help men and women in recovery take pride and ownership over their bodies and fitness, and to develop the discipline and effort required to achieve their physical goals. He believes this translates directly into the 12 steps, and that in proving that one can excel in the gym, they can use the same mentality to attack their addiction. 

He has found peace through rigorously working the 12 steps, keeping life simple and manageable, and by striving to be a better man today than he was yesterday. 

He pushes his clients to focus on what small steps they can take each day to improve and to find little victories in various circumstances to gradually build back the self-worth and honest confidence that addiction robs us of.
